Department of International Organisations have duties in the fields of food, agriculture, livestock and rural development;
- to maintain the relations and communications between the Government and international, regional specialised organisations such as FAO and CIHEAM,
- to serve as national coordination unit of the OECD and G-20 in the fields of agriculture and rural development
- to serve as coordiantor of Economical Cooperation Organisation (ECO) Regional Cooperation Center for Food Security (ECO-RCCFS)
- to prepare drafts and other documents of the agreements to be signed by international organisations and the Government and to follow the approval process
- to follow the projects which are jointly carried out by Minsitry and international organisations,
- to take part in tasks, coordinated by other public institutions regarding the relations between the international organisations,
- to ensure the coordination and collaboration between the Ministry and other public institutions regarding the relations between the international organisations,
- to ensure the visibility, efficieny and represantation of the Government in the presence of International Organisations
- to organise and participate meetings regarding International Organisations.
