H. E. Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba, the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock noted; "Without development in the rural, the country cannot be developed. We will hopefully achieve development in the rural. With these grants, the lives of many people have changed. Our women perform successfully. Hopefully, we will increase these examples. Our women are setting up business; our young people are starting to return to the rural. I see what our people do when they look at these facilities."
During the ceremony held at a factory in Malatya Organized Industrial Zone by the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK), a contract was signed with 7 companies. Grounds of 2 facilities were broken and 3 enterprises were simultaneously opened.
In his speech he delivered during the ceremony, the Minister Fakıbaba stated that they gave a grant of 18 million TL to the contract, groundbreaking and openings.
Having announced that no fees will be charged anymore for TKDK projects, the Minister Fakıbaba stated; "When you have such a big project, you also have to admit that this is an engineering work. There will be a project cost which the engineers and architects deserve. My dear friends promised me. They told that they will not raise money but be at the disposal of the people. We are at the disposal of the people. We are proud of being in a serving party which is at the disposal of the people."
Having pointed out that the rural has to be developed, the Minister Fakıbaba has emphasized that all the production comes from the rural.
"Women are setting up business, young people are returning to the rural"
Underlining that they will continue to increase their work in order to improve the conditions in the rural, the Minister Fakıbaba continued his words as follows:
"Without development in the rural, the country cannot be developed; we will hopefully achieve the development in the rural areas. With these grants, the lives of many people have changed. Our women perform successfully. One of the women receives a support of 30.000 TL and produces mushrooms. She is accompanied by her husband and two children. Her husband has also appeared very comfortable. I have asked the woman how much she earns. She has told that she earns 5.000 TL monthly. She takes care of the mushrooms and farms as they are her own children. Hopefully, we will increase these examples. Our women are setting up business; our young people are starting to return to the rural. I see what our people do when they look at these facilities."
Noting that when producers and farmers return to the rural, they want to purchase a new house and a new car, the Minister Fakıbaba expressed that those having such possibilities would not want to return to the cities in any case.
Stating that external forces try to shape the Middle East, the Minister Fakıbaba "There is only one country that cannot be shaped in the Middle East, it is Turkey. We have to give hand in hand. Turks, Kurds, Arabs, Alevis, Sunnis, we are all brothers. They divided us. Look at the leftists and rightists in the 60's. Then, they made up separation among Kurds, Alevis and Sunnis. We are all brothers. It does not concern anyone who I am. It is important to be a good person, to do useful things for the people and to be productive.
Emphasizing that external forces put people at loggerheads, the Minister Fakıbaba noted; "On July 15, we have clearly witnessed at least who the external forces are. Everything happens for a reason. May Allah rest martyrs' souls. I wish we had no martyrs, but if we had not experienced July 15, they would have taken us in 3 years."
